Abstract The primary objective of this article is to manifest by means discourse analysis the attitudes White Americans towards White-Black interracial marriages. research draws on qualitative some white find out genuine convictions they bear about unions, especially those incorporating Blacks and Whites. Regardless fact that have asserted their approval marriages, results study reveal White-Americans are still not in favour close relatives marrying outside own race. As Van Dijk (1992) postulates, one distinctive peculiarities contemporary racism its denial. On accounts rigid constraints posed upon overt expression racist perspectives, individuals bring a set discursive strategies enable deliverance negative constructs without being trapped charges.
